PATRICK GAHAN, President and CEO - Patrick is responsible for planning and directing policies, objectives, and initiatives for Seismic. He founded Seismic in late 2004 after successfully managing a number of Intelligence Community task orders on a Cybersecurity and Software Development contract as a task order manager with Lockheed Martin. For the first two years at Seismic, Patrick worked as both the CEO and a full-time J2EE Software Engineer supporting various Intelligence Community subcontracts. At the end of 2006, Patrick dedicated his full support to the role of CEO. Patrick holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University, and an MBA degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.
JEREMY SIMPKINS, Executive Vice President and COO - Jeremy is responsible for shaping corporate strategy, developing business plans, and overseeing operations for Seismic. He joined Seismic in late 2008 after successfully helping to build MAXAMINE, a web-related software company. MAXAMINE was acquired in February 2008 by Accenture. Previously, he led a number of strategy, process, communications, and program management projects within the Intelligence Community. Jeremy holds a BS degree in Biology/Marketing from Fairfield University where he was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta, the National Pre-Medical Honor Society, and an MBA degree from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.
AMY STEINBERG, Vice President of Program Development - Amy is responsible for overseeing Seismic programs and providing coordination across all business development activities. She joined Seismic in September of 2009 after spending several years at Pilar Services as a key member of the leadership team overseeing the company’s Program Management Office and assisting with business development objectives. She was also responsible for the execution of security, staffing, finance/subcontracting initiatives, interfacing with employees, and fostering strong partnerships with clients to implement programs tailored to meet their needs. Previously, Amy held marketing, sales, and leadership positions at Special Response Corporation and Pinkerton Consulting and Investigations. Amy holds a BS degree in Criminal Justice from the Pennsylvania State University, and an MS degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin.
MICHAEL WITTIG, Vice President of Business Strategy - Mike is responsible for the execution of Seismic’s business strategy by focusing on expanding current customer business and developing new customer opportunities and markets. Mike joins Seismic with 25 years experience in the Information Technology field having managed programs for agencies such as The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), The National Weather Service (NWS) and the Intelligence Community. Over the last 12 years he successfully contributed to the rapid growth of QSS Group, as a Program Manager and Director of Information Technology when they were acquired by Perot Systems in 2007. Recently, he has successfully led two major programs for an intelligence customer while a Director at Perot Systems and for Lockheed Martin. Mr. Wittig holds a BA degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, a BS degree in Computer Management Information Systems from the University of Maryland, University College, and he is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
SCOTT McDONALD, Chief Cybersecurity Engineer - Scott is responsible for advising Seismic’s Cybersecurity solution area and mentoring Technical Managers. He joined Seismic in April of 2005 and brings with him 10 years of security engineering experience. Scott holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus in Computer Engineering from the University of Alabama, and an MS degree in Computer Science with a focus in Network Security from the Johns Hopkins University.
